Unique Program Structure

  • Residential classes meet on the UT Dallas campus in a four-day format — Saturday through Tuesday — every other month (schedules are set years ahead of time)
  • The face-to-face setting is a special community of learning, trust and personal growth.
  • All students in the APL program are licensed, practicing senior physicians, so learning happens dynamically with peers from various sectors of the healthcare industry.
  • Healthcare-focused, hybrid curriculum combines in-person and online coursework.
  • Skilled faculty are composed of industry experts, medical school faculty and experienced physician executives.
  • Online business classes are created for APL students only.
  • The online format and in-residence cycle allow for flexibility in work/life/practice.
