Certificate Program

The UT Dallas Alliance for Physician Leadership Program (APL), in partnership with the Dallas County Medical Society (DCMS), offers a 6-month physician leadership certificate designed to address timely and critical topics in today’s evolving healthcare environment. This cohort-based program covers areas such as physician wellbeing, leadership, value-based contracting, quality performance, emerging IT opportunities, AI and financial management.

Participants engage in six full-day, in-person sessions, a final project presentation, and ongoing faculty interaction through readings, case studies, and discussions. The curriculum adapts to industry trends and participant interests, providing focused, practical learning while respecting the demanding schedules of physicians.
