The program curriculum is tailored to the specific needs of physician leaders, with courses focused on healthcare policy, finance, strategy, law, and management. The curriculum also includes a focus on leadership development, with courses on informatics, communication, teamwork, negotiation, and emotional intelligence. In addition to traditional classroom learning, the program also includes experiential learning opportunities such as healthcare consulting projects and executive coaching.
The Executive MBA with an Emphasis in Healthcare Leadership and Management (for Physicians) is provided by the Alliance for Physician Leadership (APL) program in the Naveen Jindal School of Management. The APL Executive MBA is a 53-credit-hour program designed specifically for senior physicians in leadership roles. The APL EMBA degree plan requires the completion of nine four-credit-hour residential classes that are held on campus plus six three-credit-hour classes held in an online format.
The Executive Master of Science (MS) with an emphasis in Healthcare Leadership and Management (for Physicians) is provided by the Alliance for Physician Leadership (APL) program in the Naveen Jindal School of Management. The Executive MS in Healthcare Leadership & Management is a 36-credit-hour specialized master’s degree designed specifically for senior physicians in leadership roles. The Executive MS HCLM (for Physicians) degree plan requires the completion of nine four-credit-hour residential classes that are held on campus.

Students have the option of pursuing the Master of Science (MS) in Healthcare Leadership & Management degree rather than completing the full MBA degree. The MS in Healthcare Leadership & Management is a 36-credit-hour degree, awarded after completion of the (9) four-credit-hour residential classes.
Double Degree Healthcare Leadership and Management MS/ Healthcare Leadership & Management Executive MBA: 63 credit hours
Students have the option of pursuing the Master of Science (MS)/Executive MBA in Healthcare Leadership & Management, a 63-credit-hour degree.
